Well - you can't say you weren't warned. In the Final tune up I said that if I do well in VEGAS BABY I will get pretty full of myself and keep going with the MEGA BETS.
Since the chances of me going back to VEGAS this year are pretty remote - the picking of the MEGA BETS has no redeeming value other than to waste your time (which makes it all the more worthwhile)

Actually one is already in the bag as I took Central Florida -5.5 over Marshall (as verified by an email sent last night before game time to Pete, Pat and Mike. “If I were in VEGAS BABY tonight I would be going large on UCF -5.5 @ Marshall” Weds Oct 13. Final UCF 35 Marshall 14. It was the first time I ever saw a half time cancelled due
to weather.
I will still try three more though. I have had tough luck in the SEC this year but I think I will still go with Auburn
-3.5 at home versus Arkansas. I like revenge games by good teams at home. Ark beat Auburn last year 44-23.
Auburn is riding high, at home and looking for a payback.
Air Force -1 @ SDSU. How a 3-2 SDSU (including a win over a Div 1AA school) only catches 1 point against a 5-1 AF squad that only lost to OK by 3 is puzzling. Look for the Falcons to roll the Spaztecs.
Iowa -3.5 @ Michigan. The Hawkeyes are a bad matchup for the Wolvies. a good defense and an offense that makes few mistakes beat UM last week. A repeat is in the making. Iowa will remember last year’s close scrape (Iowa 30 UM 28) and be ready this year
For the point whore parlay I'll take:
South Florida +10.5 @ West Virginia - tonight
Rice +10 vs Houston
Vandy +15.5 @ Georgia
