The Doofus Brothers came into town
The Doofus brothers came in from around the country to celebrate the Holidays. Good times with lots of football, teaching the younger ones how to win money on dice games and other exciting reindeer games!
And while the household was finishing off its second barrel of rum and diets the Doofus was having another solid weekend of Mega betting finishing up 2-1 with:
Week 16 Mega Bets:
Cincinnati -6.5 @ St Louis - The Rams scored a TD with 1 minute left to make the score seem closer that it was. Good thing I got in a 6.5 - Final Score Bengals 20 Clams 13 WIN
Seattle @ Chicago under 35.5 - The killer for unders is defensive scores and special teams. This game was full of them. Seattle forced a fumble at the Chicago 22 which led to a TD. Chicago responded by scooping up a Seattle fumble and going for a TD. And that was just the first quarter! Seattle and Chicago both had pick sixes and the Seahawks returned a punt to the Bears 29 yd which led to a TD. Just brutal - Final score - Seattle 41 da Bums 14 Over LOSS

Temple -6.5 vs Wyoming - . Temple jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the second quarter. Wyoming got on the board with a TD with 37 seconds left in the half. Temple's response? A 61 yd TD bomb to close out the first half and a 28-7 lead. The Owls never looked back as the rolled to a easy 37-15 WIN

Miami +9.5 @ New England - With the win over Denver last weekend the spread for New England has gotten too rich. No doubt - New England's offense is good and the Pats will put up some points but their defense is still in shambles. And Brady is terrible in covering large spreads at home. Since 2007 he is 5-15 when trying to cover more than 9 points in Beantown. Add to that - Miami is a covering machine right now going 7-1 against the spread in their last 8. I'll take those yummy Fins points.
San Diego @ Detroit Over 52.0 - San Diego's secondary is ravaged with injuries. Detroit's secondary is ravaged with injuries. San Diego's QB Phil Rivers is in the midst of one of his patented late season surges. Detroit's offense likes to score lots of points late to win. This game is going to be high scoring and then some. There'll be plenty of Sports Center highlights and this one should be in the bag by the fourth quarter.
Baylor -9.0 vs Washington - Heisman winner Robert Griffin III will be playing in front of plenty of Baylor fans as the Bears take on Washington in San Antonio. Baylor has been on a tear behind RG3 winning 5 in a row. Next up is a Huskie squad that started out 5-1 but the stumbled when the competition heated up finishing 7-5. With the 114th rated pass defense, UDub will be hard pressed to stop Baylor's 5th ranked passing offense. The Bears pass defense is only marginally better ranking 112 so this one should be high scoring but Washington's pass offense is middling at number 52. I'll lay the points.
