The Doofus kept the gang in plenty of good spirits
Good times in the Man Cave last weekend as we watched plenty of championship football. The booze was flowing and the cigars were burning in a rip roaring good time!
Unfortunately, what could have been another classic ending for the Spartans ended in disaster. Trailing 42-39, MSU returned punt to the Wiscy 1. It set up what would have been an phenomenal ending. 1:49 left, no time outs, first and goal at the one. A TD to win, field goal to go to OT. Epic
But noooo- there is a flag. MSU runs into the punter. Bucky goes into the victory formation and runs out the clock. Lame Lame Lame.
But the Doofus had third straight great week going 2-1 as:
Week 14 Recap
Baylor -3.0 vs Texas - Baylor scored the most points ever against Texas and set records for home wins and Big 12 wins as they rocked the Longhorns on Saturday. Texas QB Case McCoy got Texas up early 21-14 but then melted down with 5 turnovers. Baylor got the lead 24-14 with 50 seconds left in the half and never looked back. Final Baylor 48 Cows 24 WIN

Oklahoma State -3.5 vs Oklahoma - .Blow out City!! With a chance to face LSU in the National Championship game - OSU totally ripped the panties off their long time tormentors 44-10. WIN
New England - 20.5 vs Indianapolis - Another blow out in the making as the Pats got up 31-3. But they took their foot off the pedal allowing 21 points in the 4th quarter. Crap - that's what happens when you lay 20.5 - Final Pats 31 Dolts 24 LOSS
Only one college game this week as Navy and Army face off in Landover MD. I'll be rooting for Navy as always (Dwinks Go Army banner will not be on display this week) but laying 7 is a bit much. I'm leaing towards the the under at 56 but only some walking round money. These teams could blow up on each other. Not a lot of good stuff in the pros either but in the interest of having some fun I'll go with
Week 15 Mega Bets:
Houston +3.0 @ Cincinnati - Houston's defense is carrying the team right now. With Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson out, Houston will rely on TJ Yates to keep it simple and hand off to Adrian Foster. Cincinnati is coming off a tough loss to Pittsburgh and may not have anything left in the tank. QB Andy Dalton has some good stats against average defenses but scored only 7 against the Steelers. Houston's defense is as good at the Steelers. I'll take the gift three points and put some down on the money line of +125 too.
Week 15 Mini Megas:
Houston @ Cincinnati under 38.0 - For the same reasons above (injuries and defenses) I'll take the under on the game too
Tennessee +3.5 vs New Orleans - the public is all over Drew Brees and the Saints after back to back blow outs of the Lions and Giants. But those games were indoors. In fact, New Orleans hasn't played outside since week 6 when they lost to Tampa Bay. CJ2O has finally started to regain his old form ripping off 153 and 190 yards the last two weeks. New Orleans rush defense is middle of the pack ranking 16th overall. With no motivation on the Saints side (they have a two game lead on Atlanta) and Tennessee still in the playoff hunt I'll take the points.
While Im watching the games I'll be thinking about my 2012 Christmas Wish - MSU Christmas
