The Doofus was sent to the back of the room with the rest of the dunces last week
The 2011 GO JUMBO trip was a huge success.
The college picks were not but the NFL and over / unders offset most of the losses. Still as on Big Book of Guesses follower said " A monkey rubbing his ass with one hand and throwing darts at the football odds column would select at least as many winners as you have"
Can't disagree with that.
But I'll keep trying. And of course, you can always fade the picks and make some money.
Seeing how the NFL and over/unders are doing better I will use more of those for the Mega Bets
Week 12 Mega Bets:
Penn State @ Ohio State under 38.0 - Two defensive teams with no offenses. Always good for the under. PSU is going through the most turmoil a program ever had and now they head into the hostile Horshoe. Maybe the Nits rally but they could also crumble. This one has the look of the LSU Bama 9-6 classic

New England -14.5 vs Kansas City - The Pats defense has markedly improved since getting LB Jeord Mayo back onto the field. On Sunday they held the J..E..T..S to 16 points. KC is dead last in sacks so Tom Brady can have a sandwich while surveying the Chiefs secondary. Laying three scores is always tough in the NFL but this is the Monday night game so the Pats will want to show the league they are back.
Kansas State +8.0 @ Texas - Texas has been overrated all year. KSU has been overlooked all year. Now they meet and the same trend continues. No way is Texas 8 points better than the Wildcats. Texas has had troubles with mobile QBs. Now the shifty QB Colin Klein comes to Austin. This should be a tight game. May want to take the money line on KSU at +260. Nice return
Mini Megas not ready to be full Megas:
Green Bay -14.0 vs Tampa Bay - Aaron Rodgers is in a zone slicing and dicing his way through NFL defenses. Tampa Bay is beginning to play out the string and QB osh Freeman is struggling. The Pack will get up quickly negating the Bucs best weapon RB Garret Blount. The over at 48.5 looks tempting too.
Louisville @ Connecticut under 40.5 - Another two good defenses playing against anemic offenses. Should be a low scoring affair
Wisconsin -14.5 @ Illinois - Wisconsin can't win on the road against good teams. Illinois is not a good team. The Badgers will easily outscore an Illini offense that has scored a measly 52 points over the last 4 games.
Utah -3.5 @ Washington State - Two teams headed in opposite directions. Utah is heading up after relying on their running game more. Wazzou is in melt down with HC Paul Wulff's seat getting hotter each week. Utah's defense will hold firm and come out of Pullman with a win
Point Whore Parlay:
Kentucky +30.5 @ Georgia
Kansas +31.0 @ Texas A&M
Virginia +17.0 @ Florida State
Over Under Parlay
Eastern Michigan @ Kent State under 40.5
Cincinnati @ Rutgers under 46.5
Boston College @ Notre Dame under 47.5
The Sheriff of Malibu likes:
Okie State (-26) over Iowa State: This is an awfully big number, but if anyone can cover a spread this big, it's the Cowboys.
Houston (-19) over SMU: Thanks to Boise State's loss last week to TCU, Houston is probably heading to the Sugar Bowl.
UCLA (-10) over Colorado: Even though they were embarrassed in a snowstorm last week at Utah, UCLA still controls its destiny in the PAC-12 South, which speaks volumes for how weak the PAC-12 South is this year. Colorado is terrible and UCLA should be able to cover the 10 (as long as it doesn't snow in Pasadena on Saturday).
And the Sax Man likes:
Hawaii (-5.5) over Fresno State: Oh how the Mighty Mustaches have fallen. Hawaii gets its typical home cooking and wins by a big margin.
Buffalo (+2) over Miami: The Dolphins now have 2 wins at Land Shark Stadium in the last two years. They don't play well at home.
Chicago (- 3.5) over San Diego: Have Da Bears turned a corner? They're looking like a legitimate playoff contender.
And as always - here is the week 12 Bettors Guide
