#21 Wake Forest +7.0 vs #5 Clemson – Both are 3-0 and are arguably the two best teams in the ACC. They face off in an early crucial showdown for the title.
Clemson’s days of owning the ACC are behind it. The defense is still there but the offense is inconsistent. Yeah, Clemson’s defense has been stellar so far this year but has yet to face a competent offense.
Wake Forest’s offense is the best the Tigers have faced all year. QB Sam Hartman missed the opener against VMI due to a blood clotting problem, then came back and rocked Vanderbilt and Liberty for 625 yards and seven touchdowns.
Wake Forest has building the program for this moment. They thought they were there last year only to get knocked off 48-21.
Yet, Wake Forest’s best win is, umm Liberty? By a point?
I’ll take the defending Coastal champs, WtF, to cover at home but no quatloos.

Florida barely escaped South Florida #11 Tennessee -10.0 vs #20 Florida – Two programs try to return to their glory days of the past.
Florida may be ranked but it soon won’t be. The Gators knocked off Utah in a thriller but then lost to Kentucky, eliminating for the race for 2nd place in the SEC East, then was a muffed snap by South Florida to losing last week. The media is in love with QB Anthony Richardson but the Gators are 121st in passing offense.
Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker is the real deal. The Vols rank 5th is total offense, 4th in scoring offense and 3rd in total offense. He has 6 TDs so far and no picks.

A&M has no passing attack #10 Arkansas +2.0 vs Texas A&M – It’s the opposite of the immovable object versus the irresistible force. Arkansas has the worst pass defense while A&M has the 99th ranked passing offense. But for whatever reason, despite the horrible pass defense, the Razorbacks lead the nation in sacks.
Since this game will come down to the running game, Arkansas has the clear advantage, the rank 7th in stopping the runs.

North Texas just let up 58 points to UNLV Memphis -11.5 vs North Texas – North Texas has no clue how to play defense. They just gave up 58 points to UNLV. Memphis just put up 81 points on nice wins over Navy and Arkansas State. North Texas is also a turnover machine, the Mena Green has given it away seven times so far this year. Memphis has turned it over only once. I’ll put a quatloo on the Tigers to cover.
