Here is a bit more prep for everyone heading to VEGAS BABY this weekend. It's a capsule off all the Top 25 games
1. Mississippi State +8.5 @ 5. Alabama – Huge game. The SEC West playoff continues. Granted, game is in Tuscaloosa but the #1 team getting 8.5? Tide has gone 3-1 SU when facing the #1 team over the past five seasons by a combined score of 101-26. Saban has covered last seven in a row at Bryant-Denny against SEC foes. Mullen on 10-4 ATS run including five in a row. Should be a dandy
3. FSU -1.5 @ Miami (FL) – FSU struggles early then pulls it out this year. Many are thinking that this game may end FSU's 25 game win streak. But can a true freshman beat out the defensing Heisman trophy winner. Miami (FL) QB Brad Kayaa leads the ACC in TD passes and QB rating. Jimbo 2-8 ATS last ten. Underdog is 13-3 last 16 but road team is 6-2 last eight.
4. TCU -28.0 @ Kansas – Will Frogs be focused after back to back wins over West Virginia and Kansas State? Kansas finally got their first win of the year blast week crushing Iowa State. Frogs an amazing 8-1 ATS so far this year. Kansas is 4-5
6. Arizona State -9.5 @ Oregon State – Beaver lost at home to a Washington State team playing a freshman in his first start. But will ASU let down after huge win over Notre Dame last week. Forks 0-4-1 ATS vs OSU last five.
8. Ohio State -12.0 @ 25. Minnesota – Bucknuts coming off huge win over Michigan State. Let down alert? Gophers destroyed Iowa 56-14 last week. Minnesota is 0-12 all time when playing an Ohio State team ranked in the top 10. But kill is 8-3 ATS as a dog and 9-4 as the home team.
9. Auburn +2.5 @ 15. Georgia – Can Tigers recover after fumbling away game to Texas A&M? Georgia gets RB Todd Gurley back after four game suspension. Neither team is covering this year. Auburn is 2-7 ATS. Richt is 7-11 at home. Auburn is 7-0 last seven as underdog. Georgia games have gone over 8 of 9 this year – Auburn six of nine.
12 Michigan State -12.0 @ Maryland – Can State recover after devastating loss to Ohio State last week? Maryland is without suspended (and lacerated kidney) star WR Stefon Diggs. Spartans are 6-2 as road visitor and are on a 15-6 run overall. Over has gone 3-0 for MSU on the road this year. Maryland is 4-0 at home for the over.
Washington +9.0 @ 14. Arizona – Washington dismissed star CB from the team Thursday. But they do get the nation’s leading sack master Hau’oli Kikaha (16.5) who left in the first quarter in last week’s loss to UCLA. They also return LB Shaq Thompson who leads Div 1A in defensive TDs. But Washington is 3-5 as a dog and the home team has won six straight ATS in this series.
16. Nebraska +6.5 @ 20. Wisconsin – Big Ten West title is on the line. Huskers have lost 4 of their last five against ranked teams on the road and Pelini is 3-8 in those situations. But ATS he fares much better going 3-0 on the road and 4-1 as a dog. Nebraska star running back is wearing a knee brace and could be hurting. Since gaffing against Northwestern, the Badgers have won four straight by double digits.
17. LSU +2.0 @ Arkansas – Can LSU rebound from a heartbreaker to Bama last week? Bielema plays just good enough to lose in the SEC. He’s 0-13. But he’s 7-1 ATS this year. LSU 1-6 vs Arkansas ATS. With the spread at 2.0 – means LSU would be favored by only 1 on a neutral field. Hmmmmmmm.

Northwestern +17.5 @ 18. Notre Dame – ND coming off beat down by ASU. Defense is a sieve and Golson has 17 turnovers over last six games. But Cats are 122nd in points per game and 4-15 ATS. Ugly game.
19. Clemson -3 @ Georgia Tech – 3rd down conversions will determine. Tech offense is the best and Clemon’s defense allows the fewest. Tech returns BWG thumper RB Zach Laskey. Clemson returns QB DeShaun Watson. Tigers are 0-4 ATS in his absence. Noon game. Excellent way to start Saturday’s fun .
Va Tech +4.5 @ 21. Duke – Doofus has won a Mega bet and a Mini Mega in back to back weeks on the Blue Devils. After back to back road wins, Duke returns to Wallace Wade where they are 8-0 SU and 11-1 ATS. Va Tech is reeling losing three in a row both SU and ATS. Hokies on 1-6 ATS run.
23 Utah +7.5 @ Stanford – revenge game for Cardinal who lost 27-21 last year at Utah. Stanford coming off bye after getting trounced by Oregon 45-16. Utah lost last week to the Ducks at home 51-27. It was the only loss ATS for the Utes who are 7-1 ATS. Stanford 4-1 ATS at home this year.
Missouri +5.5 @ 24. Texas A&M – Aggies get ranked after taking down Auburn last week. Win ended three game SEC losing streak. Aggies 4-10 ATS while Missouri is 9-1 ATS on the road.

Hope you guys have fun in Lost Wages and come home with loads of cash. I’m betting my heart on this first game but sometimes you just have to.
Cal (+14.5) over USC. This should be a great appetizer for Go Jumbo Weekend and I’m hoping the Doofus and the Boys will bear witness to Cal’s first victory against the Condoms since 2003. The key to this game will be Cal’s ability to run the ball with Daniel Lasco. Lasco has 796 yards rushing and is averaging 5.4 yards per carry. If Cal can the ball, it will open up its passing game and keep USC’s offense off the field. If they can’t run the ball, the Bears are screwed. This game will give Cal QB Jared Goff some much-deserved National exposure on a Thursday night game on ESPN.
Arizona State (-9.5) over Oregon State. In honor of the King (the late, great Elvis Presley who has a statue in front of the Las Vegas Hilton, home of Go Jumbo weekend), Arizona State will take a page from his playbook and follow his motto: “TCB”, taking care of business. That’s exactly what the Sun Devils need to do against a weak Oregon State team. The Sun Devils are 8-1 and on a collision course with Oregon in the PAC-12 Championship game as long as they TCB. Here’s betting they will.
Arizona (-9) over Washington. The “other” Arizona school in the PAC-12 has lost some of the spotlight but their PAC-12 title hopes are not dead. The Wildcats are 7-2 and still have an outside chance at the PAC-12 South Title if they win out. This game is in the Desert against a Washington team that is coming off a beating at the hands of UCLA. Should be an easy win for Arizona.
