It's back to just fun and games with the picks. Time for the head coaches to get their marching orders and tank the games.

First let’s see what the advanced betting metrics picked.

Take the visiting favorite if the spread is from 0 to 3.0.
Stanford -3.0 @ Oregon

2. On spreads from 3.5 to 6.5 take the favorite if it’s the visitor otherwise pass

Utah -4.0 @ Arizona State

3. From 7.0 to 9.5 take the underdog if it’s the visitor otherwise pass
SMU +7.0 @ East Carolina
USC +7.5 @ Washington (The Sheriff disagrees. I’ll go with the Sheriff)

4. On spreads from 10.0 to 13.5 take the favorite if it’s home otherwise pass
Central Florida -12.0 vs Cincinnati
Oklahoma State -12.5 vs Texas Tech
UNC Charlotte -10.5 vs Rice
UCLA -11.0 vs Oregon State (Once again the Sheriff disagrees. I’ll stick with him)
Georgia State -12.0 vs UL Monroe
Florida -11.0 vs South Carolina
Texas A&M -10.0 vs Ole Miss

5. From 14 to 20.5 take the home dog otherwise pass
Hawaii +18.0 vs Boise State
Arizona +16.0 vs Colorado
Army is getting 18.0 vs Notre Dame but the game is being played at the Alamo Dome

6. Teams giving 40
No teams are giving 40 or more this week. The biggest spread is Louisville giving 35.0 to Wake Forest

So I’ll go with these for Mega Bets

PictureTuberville has taken to giving career advice to the fans
Wyoming -7.5 @ UNLV – The Cowboys are on a roll – winners of five in a row including wins over Boise State and Utah State the last two weeks. UNLV is coming off losses to Colorado State and a bad loss to San Jose State
Wyoming’s is soft against the pass but that is not UNLV’s forte. They are a running team. The Cowboys will grind a 2 TD win

Central Florida -12.5 vs Cincinnati – Going with the advanced betting metrics here. The Knights are coming off a bye after losing a close one to Houston. It’s be quite a turnaround for UCF having gone 0-12 last year. This year they are 5-4 with a chance to get bowl eligible with a win. The defense has led the way allowing only 15.5 points per game at home

The BearCats are in complete meltdown this year. They rank 118th in scoring offense. HC Tommy Tuberville is apologizing after telling a fan last week to “go to hell” and “get a job” Losin 4 out of your last five will do that to you.

Seattle +7.5 @ New England – New England is the best team in the NFL, no doubt. I took them to win the Super Bowl in my prop bet. But over a TD better than Seattle. I think not.

Seattle’ weakness is a porous OL but New England's weakness is ther lakc of pass rush. Russel Wilson will be able to move the chains and keep pace with Brady and Gronk

I’ll take the SeaHawks and the hook.

I'll also do a Point Whore Parlay with
Tulane +25.0 @ Houston
Wake Forest +35.0 @ Louisville
Illinois +24.0 @ Wisconsin

PictureThe quarterback whisperer heads to the Valley
The Sheriff likes:
Cal/Washington State (UNDER) 83.5.  The Sheriff hasn’t had much luck with OVERs lately, so he is going with the UNDER.
Washington (-8.5) over USC.  Huskies should win.
Oregon State (+12) over UCLA.  Gutsy little Beavers are good at covering the number.

In the Coaching Carousel, as expected Jeff Tedford, former Cal HC took the reins at Fresno State. Unusual for a coach to take over mid season but its a good fit. He's a former player at FSU, he knows the recruiting area from his time at Cal, he knows how to coach up QBs and many of the current assistants coached with Jeff in years past

In looking at former FSU HCs I came across and interesting on - who coached there from 1969-1972 (hint - think MSU) answer below

For all the games, spread, picks and much much more here is the 2016 Week 11 Bettors Guide
