It was a safe flight A quick story before the Super Bowl pick. I was in the Delta lounge when I noticed a very stern looking man looking around the lounge. At first I thought h was some rep from Delta checking things out until I noticed a squad of people wearing matching tan khakis and blue blazers also standing (none were sitting) watching over the crowd. My immediate thought was why was the secret service here.
When I boarded my flight two of the guys were at the bottom of the jetway checking out the passengers. This is just weird.
Then I found out why. As I turned to enter the airplane – there was Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn sitting in first class (and likely the reason I didn’t get the upgrade)
I was going to say “Hi Mr President!” but he looked like he was three quarters of the way into a power nap.

Fletcher Cox won't be intimidated by Brady and the gang Philadelphia +4.5 vs New England - Another team will try and take down the Dynasty. Atlanta thought they would be the ones last year until they blew a 28-3 lead. And if you want yet another reason to root against New England, Robert Kraft rubbed it in by putting 283 diamonds on their fifth Super Bowl rings. Prick.
Now they are attempting to win their third Super Bowl in four years – for a second time. Ironically, they last time they did it was against Philadelphia in Super Bowl XXXiX.
Back on the GO JUMBO trip I took the Eagles to win the Super Bowl and it was looking good. Carson Wentz was slicing up defences and the eagles defense was shutting everyone down.
Then Carson Wentz went down. Nick Foles came in and struggled.
But the defense has stepped up. In the last four games they have allowed a total of 33 points with only nine in the second half. And zero second half points in the playoffs. Remember that if the Eagles are up at the half. They won’t choke like Atlanta last year and the Jaguars last week.
Philadelphia is the better team in just about every category except one – quarterback. Their lines are better, the running backs and WRs are better.
I know Gronk is back but Fletcher Cox and Malcom Jenkins will contain him.
If Wentz was playing this game would be a push but he’s not so the line started out at eagles +6. The pros quickly pushed it down to +4. Everyone hates the Pats so the public is al over the Eagles and the line has moved to its current position of +4.5
I’m going with the public. The Eagles are playing the underdog role to the hilt and the defense is not going to be intimidated.
I'll go with the Green gatorade to finish the game Of course it wouldn’t be the Super Bowl without a lot of prop bets 400 at last count.
You can make bets before the game even starts. The coin flip is -102 for both heads and tails but the National anthem. Not only can you bet how long Pick will take to sing the National Anthem (over 2:00 always seems a winner) but also whether she will go airborne during the song. I’ll say she shows some respect and take no at -500.
And you can make bets when the payers are in the locker room during the half. Will Justin Timberlake cover a Prince song. Of course he will (-230)
And after the game too with the color of the Gatorade shower.

And I think this will be a close game so I’ll lay wagers on New England wins by 1-6 points +300; Philadelphia wins by 1-6 points +425. It paid off last year. It’ll pay off again this year.
