Attendance at the Doofus annual turkey fest will be massive again this year as most everyone will be making it home to gobble down turkey, ham and all the trimmings. All lovingly prepared by Mrs Doofus.
Feeding time is scheduled for halftime at the Lions game. We figure the game will be out of reach by then.
It’s Rivalry weekend which means there are a ton of great games this weekend. Here are the picks for today’s games with more to come!
Chicago -2.5 @ Detroit – The NFL needs a new scheduler. This is the second time in 11 days these two will face off. Back on the 11th, the Bears sacked Stafford six times and picked him off twice en route to a 34-22 win. It was 26-0 late in the second quarter before the Bears took the foot off the gas.
Nothing has changed but the venue since that game. Check that, the Lions will be without RB Kerryon Johnson who had two TDs last time. The results will be the same or worse. I’ll take the Bears to officially take the Lions out of the playoff hunt. Put me down for a Mini Mega.

Saints are on a roll Washington +7.0 @ Dallas – It was GO JUMBO weekend. Washington was in first place in the NFC East. In the first two series of the game they lost two of their best OL. It’s been down hill ever since. The OL is a sieve.
Alex Smith took a Thiesman last week and is out for the rest of his career. Colt McCoy gets the fun of playing behind the sieve.
The Redskin defense is still OK and should hold Zeke and Dak.
It’s a rivalry game. I’ll take Washington and the points. No quatloos though.
Atlanta +12.5 @ New Orleans – The Saints are unstoppable right now. They’ve scored 45 or more points over the last three games and have won nine straight.
The last time these two met, Atlanta was able to keep pace before losing 43-37. I’m taking the Falcons as the spread is too high for a rivalry game. No quatlos though. I was hoping that Falcon LB Deion Jones would be back for this game but he was ruled out. If he was playing, I would up the bet.
I will take the over tough for fun. Make it a quatloo.

That had to hurt Mississippi State -10.5 @ Mississippi - It’s a double revenge game for MSU. Last year, Ole Miss upset the Bulldogs 31-28 and QB Nick Fitzgerald went down with a horrific leg injury.
Fitzgerald is back and will get his revenge against a Rebel defense that is struggling. They’ve lost four straight and couldn’t stop the Sax Man’s DIII gay rugby team.
Normally, I like taking the points in rivalry game but this one means too much to Miss State. Put me down for a quatloo.
