Oooff - that was an ugly day yesterday.
And I'm not just talking about the Spartans. In fact, I'll just stop talking about the Spartans. Nothing changed. They lost to another bad team.
They started out kicking FGs instead of scoring TDs, took a lead late only to give it back. And last desperate drive fell short as usual. Sparty lost 31-27 - their seventh straight loss.
Any feeling better after last weeks solid effort vanished into the ether.
THe betting? An ugly start. I'll give a full recap later. Suffice to say I hope I can do what I did last year and get half of it back.
In that vein here are the bets on the NFL

I'll do some Mini Megas and Double Mini Megas on
Eagles +3.0 @ NY Giants - Eli Manning is having a terrible year. The main reason is that he is getting no protection. The Eagle's will be constantly pressuring Manning.
Manning will find Odell Beckham Jr will have a few great plays but it won't be enough. The spread indicates that these teams are even. They are not. Eagles will cover.
LA Rams +3.0 vs Carolina - Carolina's flaw this year (and last) is the softness in the OT position. LA's Robert Quinn will be constantly hurrying Cam
Meanwhile the Panther defense is banged up missing Shaq Thompson and Luke Kuechly is not 100 percent. Todd Gurley should have a nice day.
The quatloo bets will be:
Detroit +6.0 @ Minnesota
New Orleans -4.5 @ San Francisco
