Kenneth Dixon rolled over Ark State My first Mega Bet of the Bowl games went down in flames.
Arkansas State +2.5 vs La Tech - Arkansas State missed their leading tackler more than I thought they would as the Red Wolve's defense was horrible. Especially in the second half.
Ark State tied it 20-20 midway through the third quarter. La Tech repsonded with a wheel route to RB Keenth Dixon who took it to the house. It was the start of a 24-0 run by the Bulldogs.
Dixon was unstoppable scoring 4 TDs on 215 yards. Dixon now has the all time Div 1A TD record at 87 - two ahead of Navy QB Keenan Reynolds who still has a bowl game to play.

The rest of the Mini Megas were 0-1-1 with Arizona favored by 8.0 winning 45-37 for a tie and a loss on Oakland. The Raiders were getting 3.0 but lost to Green Bay 30-20. Derrick Carr didn't help things when his two picks including a pcik six led to an early 14-0 Pack lead. My NFL picks still suck.
Lets see if we can get things back on track with the bowls. Things are going pretty good in the Confidence picks. The first set of picks is 5-0. With the favorites winning every game so far the upset special picks 2 is 3-2. With not a lot of points allocated on the losses it's still hanging around.
Mike and Fuss have 3 and 2 losses in the pool respectively but haven't allocated too many points on the losses so they still have a shot too.

aggert is the head coach of South Florida and will playing the team that retired his jersey. He was an All American QB at WKU in 1997 and 98. He also coached there before moving to South Florida in 2013.
These teams are coming in hot on offense. South Florida has scored 153 points in their last three games while WKU has averaged nearly 50 points per game in their 5 game winning streak.
Last year WKU played an all time classic in beating Central Michigan 49-48 in the Bahama's Bowl. Expect that kind of fireworks in this game.
South Florida will try to slow things down with their pound and ground running game that ranked 11th in rushing this year.
