Going to be a fun weekend of college football as Chris is joining me at Park Beach Command for some adult beverages, cigars and trips to Frat Beach, the annual trek by Georgia coeds to our lovely island.
After partying all night, they will either board the bus to Jacksonville or stumble into a local water hole to watch:
Georgia -14.5 vs Florida – yeah, I know, All World TE brock Bowers is out with tightrope surgery. Why he needs surgery for a tightrope is a bit of a mystery but the Dawgs will be just fine without him. It just means that his catches over the middle will be replaced by slot WR Mizzou transfer Dominic Lovett.

Florida is excellent against the rush but ranks dead last in allowing explosive plays through the air. Lovett and WRs Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint and Rara Thomas should put up big numbers today
The key statistic when the Gators have the ball is that Florida ranks 118th in 3rd down conversions where as Georgia is not only #1 (a mere 21%) but on track to have the best defensive third down conversion rate of all time
I’ll take Georgia to cover but no quatloos. It’s still a rivalry game after all.
Games I will be investing in are:
Duke +4.5 @ Louisville – States Plan B HC candidate loves to play Dantoinio ball. Run game and great sound solid defense. The Blue Devils had FSU on the ropes last week until QB Leonard Riley got injured in the 3rd quarter.
Louisville may have beaten ND, whereas Duke lost to the Domers on a last second TD. But Louisville just came off a loss to Pitt. Likely a hangover from the win over ND the week before. Still, that’s a bad look.
Purdue +2.5 @ Nebraska – I buying low on Purdue after a bye week and the most of the Nebraska's offense is in the medical ward.
The Huskers had already lost pair of WRs and RBs to season-ending injuries earlier in the season. Now add the add 3 OLs and their leading receiver Billy Kemp IV to the MASH wounded list after last week's victory over Northwestern.
Nebraska has one of the nation's least efficient passing attacks, The Boilers will simply load the box against a severely depleted skill position group and offensive line.
I’ll join Chris is shouting Boiler Up
My money line parlay let me down last week but I will keep pushing with a money line parlay of
Oklahoma ML @ Kansas – Both teams can generate the yards but Oklahoma ranks 16th on red zone efficiency while Kansas, still missing star QB Jalon Daniels ranks dead last
Florida State ML @ Wake Forest – Wake Forest is terrible in pass defense (98th) and have yet to face a QB as good as Jordan Travis. Travis and WR Keon Coleman are going to have a field day.
Maryland ML @ Northwestern – The Cats are a surprising 304 on the year, but their struggling offense that will playing with a backup QB won’t be able to keep up the high powered Terp offense.
Tulane ML over Rice – This is perhaps the trickiest pick in the parlay. Rice is underrated with a tremendous offense led by QB JT Daniels. Tulane is also explosive even with backup QB. I’ll go with Tulane having a slightly better offense in a shoot out.
The payoff is -109

I’m also going to put a quatloos on the over 55.0 on the Rice Tulane game
I’ll also go with an evening ML parlay with:
North Carolina ML over Georgia Tech – The Sax Man got me last time picking against the bees but I think UNC will be focused after blowing up a ML parlay for me last week against Virginia
Air Force ML @ Colorado State - Colorado State is a bit below average in defending the run. Air Force has arguably the best OL in the country. The FlyBoys will pound out another victory.
Boise State ML vs Wyoming – I’ve been a fan of the Cowboys all year but this week I’m going against them. Boise State is coming off an epic melt down where they blew a 30-10 lead against Colorado State. Coming off a bye the Broncos will be focused at home on the Smurf Turf.
The payoff is+113
Remember the 2023 GO JUMBO trip is in two weeks, Nov 11th, at the Westgate Super Book
