Marshall +6.5 @ NC State - I vowed never to bet on or against NC State ever again. They lose the games where I pick the and win the games where I pick against them. But this is too tempting.
Another year and another anticipated break out year for HC Dave Doeren and NC State. After 10 years of this, it ain't happening.
Earlier in the week, Doeren announced he was moving on from transfer quarterback Brennan Armstrong and will start MJ Morris in this game. Morris will take over one of the nation's poorest offenses that has passed the ball 32.4 times per game for an average of 194.2 yards. The Wolfpack haven’t had much success on the ground his season, and with Armstrong being the leading rusher and set to be on the bench, someone will have to step up in the run game.
The unbeaten Thundering Herd rank 2nd in passing yards allowed per game (143.0) and 2nd in defensive efficiency against the pass (88.94). They also create solid pressure and are tied for 2nd in the rankings with 4.0 sacks per game.
I'll take the solid defense against an offense trying to find its footing. Put me down for a quatloo on the money line at +210

Texas State is overrated based on a week 1 upset of Baylor. Since then they have played a whole bunch of nothing.
ULL has an explosive offense featuring Zeon Chriss. Chriss has 595 passing yards while throwing four touchdowns with four interceptions. He also has 260 rushing yards on 28 carries with four touchdowns, averaging 52 yards per game

Florida State ML vs Virginia Tech
Ohio ML vs Kent State
Texas State is overrated based on a week 1 upset of Baylor. Since then they have played a whole bunch of nothing.

FAU is the short favorite. Weird stat, Tulsa is in the middle of a three game stretch of playing teams with Owls as their mascot, Temple, FAU and Rice in two weeks. Tulsa is horrible against the pass and worse on special teams. Their record looks fine but it has been against pathetic competition. FAU has held up well against much stiffer competition. Coming off a bye, they should take down a underwhelming Golden Hurricanes.

Colorado State is the short favorite. The Rams went to the portal and significantly upgraded their lines. The went from worst in college football to a reasonable 43rd. Colorado found out first hand about the improvement. Utah State has the worst defense in college football and just lost their starting quarterback. This should be a blow out.
