UGA's defense was to much for the Vols It’s the first time since 2010 that Bama has two losses before the Iron Bowl. Bryce Young nearly pulled another rabbit out of his hat but the defense, primarily the secondary, finally put him in a hole that he couldn’t escape.
It was supposed to be a an exciting game, a game to decide the SEC. Not even close. Tennessee’s unstoppable offense completely turtled in front of UGA’s defense. The Dawg’s sacked Hooker six times and the crowd induced seven false starts. The Vols didn’t score a TD until 4 minutes left and the game already out of reach.
Kirby and Georgia have now inherited Nick’s mantle as the most dominant team in football. Everyone else is playing for second.

The Cats led until late in the 1st half The Bucknuts will have to play better than they did in a 21-7 win against Northwestern if they want to have a prayer against Georgia. They trailed 7-0 until 2 minutes left in the first quarter.

It was get the ball - score! rinse, repeat You like points? How about this - SMU 77, Houston 63. It was the highest scoring game in regulation ever. How crazy was it? These two offenses combined for 16 drives in the first half, and 13 resulted in touchdowns. The Mustangs dropped a whopping 56 points on Houston before halftime.
SMU’s scoring streak ended after nine consecutive touchdowns with a three-and-out drive in the third quarter.
