Happy Thanksgiving, In this worst of years, there is much to be thankful for. Our family, our friends (admit it Bruce, you are my friend) and, yes, our health. If we can make it through this year, we can make it through anything.
And, as always, remember to be thankful for what you have, not what you wish you had.
Ok, enough sappiness, let’s get to something that I thankful for, even if it was abbreviated this year – football!
Normally this would be rivalry weekend but this year because the ACC and SEC aren’t playing each other, we won’t have A Good Old Fashioned Hate, Clemson vs South Carolina, Kentucky vs Louisville, Virginia Tech vs Virginia or Florida State vs Florida. Other games like Ohio State vs Michigan and Tennessee vs Vandy have been rescheduled while Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State has already been played.
And, as always, remember to be thankful for what you have, not what you wish you had.

Oregon State is coming of a win over Cal Still there are plenty of games left
Oregon State +14.0 vs Oregon – If the Spanish Flu couldn’t stop the Beaver State Civil War, Covid certainly won’t.
Oregon is coming off a very close win over UCLA. The Bruins were able to shut down the Duck running game limiting them to 88 yards. UCLA was also able to run roughshod over Oregon going off for 267 yards.
Oregon State has enough ground game to challenge the Ducks. It’s a rivalry game and the Beavers are at home. I’ll take the points but no quatloos.
Stanford +1.5 @ California – the Big Game features two bad winless teams but the Cardinal is slightly better. Stanford has owned this series winning 9 of the last 10 but lost last year.
I’ll take the points in a revenge game. No quatloos though.

UCF is too explosive for USF UCF -25.0 @ South Florida – The War on I-4 will be a blowout. South Florida has lost seven straight and five of those by 21+ points. UCF is explosive and will run up the score. I’ll put a quatloo on the Knights.
Mississippi -9.5 vs Mississippi State – It’s the first Lane vs the Pirate Egg Bowl. But it should get ugly. The Air Raid is plain not working averaging just 17.4 points per game.
Lane has his offense kicking in. They just put up 59 on South Carolina. I’ll put a Mini Mega on the Rebs to roll.
UL Lafayette -28.5 @ UL Monroe – The Battle of the Bayou will be no contest. UL Monroe is that bad perhaps the worst team in the country. UL Lafayette just blew out a much better South Alabama by 28.
The Ragin Cajuns will have the spread be the end of the third. I’m in for a Mini Mega.

Auburn upset Bama last year giving Gus a one year reprieve Alabama -24.5 vs Auburn – It’s the biggest spread in the Iron Bowl since Gus took over Auburn. Last year he saved his bacon in upsetting Bama on the Plains. Malzahn now is tied with Les Miles with the most wins (3) over Nick since he arrived in Tuscaloosa.
It’s a revenge game for the Tide and the have more than enough horsepower to run up the score. Gus will be updating his resume after the game. No quatloos though, the Big Guy and Dr. Big Guy don’t want me profiting off the Tiger’s misery.

That was impressive Cats! Last week's results were miserable. For the first time I lost both money line parlays. On the aggressive parlay, Troy threw two picks in MTSU territory, losing 20-17.
On the safe parlay, Northwestern's defense stuffed Wisconsin winning 17-7. That was impressive. I'm going bold and calling for the Cats to win the Big 10. Ohio State's secondary is shaky enough for them to get upset. If I were in Vegas I would take a flyer in the Cats to win the Big Ten with a 6.5/1 payoff.
