I'm not sure what to expect. With Covid restrictions I've heard bookings are down 50% on the Island but with reduced attendance allowed at the stadium there just might be more people partying here are opposed to going to the game. We will make sure that the Island hits its party quota!
As far as the game itself the Saxy Lady is adamant that I pick Georgia, threatening reduced visits with Lil Lou if I take Florida so

Meanwhile Florida continues to improve. The defense looked sharp in last weeks 41-17 blow out of Mizzou. QB Kyle Trask may have gained the inside track for the Heisman now that Trevor deals with the Covid (and Joe Milton getting exposed last week).
But the best unit on the field is the Dawg defense. If Trask lights up UGA then he will take a huge step forward in getting up on stage in NYC.

DJ Uiagalelei got things going last week Clemson -5.5 @ Notre Dame - I asked the gang who we should root for in this game. Do we root for the hated Domers or is it time for someone to knock off Clemson?
Opinions were mixed. I personally would love to see Clemson get knocked off but I'm not sure my psyche could handle rooting for Notre Dame.
What I do know is that just when Notre Dame looks like they could really be a good team, it turns out to be a fraud. Sure they blasted Pitt 45-2 but the Panthers were missing QB Kenny Pickett. They thrashed Florida State too but it was when everyone was beating the Noles. Louisville is turning out to be a whole lot of nothing and ND barely escaped 12-7.
Clemson may be missing Trevor, but after a slow start DJ Uiagalelei got things going in a comeback win over Boston College. The defense and Etienne will be more than ND can handle as they prove they aren't who you think they are one more time. Put me down for a quatloo

Zach Wilson is leading BYU to a NY6 bowl game and maybe more BYU -3.0 @ Boise State - The Group of Five have three teams with a realistic shot at making the CFP. Two have a play in game this week.
BYU has been crushing everything there path, winning by an average 30 points per game. And now QB Zach Wilson gets his chance on the national stage. He has thrown for over 400 yards in all seven games and is working his way of draft charts across the NFL. Ironically, back in 2017 he committed to Boise before reneging and signing with BYU.
Boise's starting QB Hank Bachmeier is listed as questionable but no reason was given. Backup USC transfer Jack Sears had a nice game against Air Force but hasn't seen anything like the Cougar defense.
I'll take the team with seven games under its belt with a budding star at QB and lay a quatloo on BYU.

It's OK to root for Notre Dame but never ever root for scUM Indiana +3.0 vs Michigan - Michigan has won 24 straight and 39 of the last 40 so you never mess with a streak right?
Nah, there's a longer streak in play. I've rooted against scUM for several hundred games in a row. You might root for the Domers but you never ever ever root for Michigan. Booger Man's hot seat goes up a few more notches.
Arizona State +12.5 @ Southern Cal - The PAC 12 starts play this week. One thing I learned is to not bet on first week games. The second is to take the underdogs.
Tulane -5.0 @ East Carolina - Joe took Tulane last week and they won big. Woz put the Wave on his ML parlay card. Good enough for me.
