Time to play the big boys. Back to back games at Ohio State and then at Wisconsin. The gang is pessimistic, wondering if we are going to even cover let alone win. Me? As far as I’m concerned, we are playing with house money. No one expects us win. Not even close. That’s when the chip is firmly on our shoulders and we shock the world.
Then again, maybe we pull a Lions and get a victory with a close defeat. Nah, win or go home. No moral victories for me. If we want to go to Indianapolis, we need to win the game.
Possible, sure. This is the first quality team Ohio State has played. They have yet to be tested. How will they react if State comes out and takes a lead? State has been in late game situations with the game on the line. OSU has yet to face adversity. How will they react?
That’s how I see this game going. A close battle with both teams with a chance to win in the fourth quarter. State’s defense is giving the Bucknuts all they can handle and an underrated Spartan offense scoring points. Florida Atlantic scored 21. State can do that. Strap on your chinstrap, it’s going to be a good game.

With teams like Bama and Clemson on a bye there is only one other big game this week:
Auburn -2.5 @ Florida – Is it fair to say that Auburn has been a big surprise? Sure they were ranked to begin the season but few expected them to beat both Oregon on a (somewhat) neutral site and Texas A&M in their backyard. The Tigers are doing it with outstanding line play. DE Nick Coe and DT Derrick Brown are likely day 1 picks and OT Prince Tega Wanogho could go on day 2.The run game has been working and now the pass game is taking off. Last week against Miss State Bo Nix went off for 353 yards (16 YPP) and 2 TDs.
Florida maybe 4-0 and they have played a whole bunch of nothing. Not one but two Div 1AA teams, an underwhelming Miami (FL) and a Kentucky team that is a mere shadow of last years team. The defense is fine but the offense is relying on backup QB Kyle Trask
The Big Guy and Dr Big Guy will be at the game. They are in for a good time.

I’m putting a Mega bet on this one.
Utah State +27.5 @ LSU – It’s just like old times in Logan. Gary Andersen is back on the sidelines after leaving in 2012 with an 11-2 record. But, where before, he did It with defense, now he is winning with an offense that averages 39 points per game
Spartan fans know all about Aggies QB Jordan Love from last year. This year his working his way up the draft ladder - likely a 3rd rd pick now. The Tiger secondary may have talent but it’s let up over 900 yards over the last three games. Five of LSU's top defenders are likely out for the game: linebacker Michael.
Divinity Jr. (knee), outside linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson (ankle), defensive end Rashard Lawrence (ankle), defensive end Glen Logan (foot), and safety Todd Harris Jr. (knee – out for season) as they save themselves for next week’s game against Florida.
LSU will score. QB Joe Burrow set a school record with six passing touchdowns in the 66-38 win at Vanderbilt before the bye and has already topped his 2018 total of 16. They are destroying everything in their path averaging 58 points per game (#1 overall).
I’ll take the points as LSU overlooks the Aggies.

Iowa +3.5 @ Michigan – Iowa is Wiscy Lite. They will smack scUM in the mouth and the Walvies will turtle.
It’s just like scUM to get all excited about a blow out over Rutgers. They feel they are back. They’re not. The rot in the locker room was not extinguished.
The wrong team is favored. The Hawkeyes will pound away for a comfortable victory.
I’ll lay some Mini Mega Bets on:
Central Florida -3.5 @ Cincinnati – Ignore the loss to Pitt, UCF is still the class of the American Conference. Don’t ignore the Ohio State 42-0 beat down of the Bearcats. The Knights defense controls the game.
Green Bay +3.5 @ Dallas - The three quarterbacks Dallas has beaten this year are a combined 0-7, and two of them, Eli Manning and Case Keenum, have been benched. Aaron Rodgers is much better than those QBs

Chicago -5.0 vs Oakland (London) – West coast teams are 1-5 ATS against east coast and central time teams. Khalil Mack is going to destroy his former team
I'll also go with a Point Whore Parlay with
Kansas +32.5 vs Oklahoma
Bowling Green +46.0 @ Notre Dame
Cal +18.0 @ Oregon
The Sheriff hopes to continue his winning ways with:
San Jose State (-7) vs New Mexico - The Sheriff was impressed by the Spartan’s victory on the road against Arkansas two weeks ago and likes them at home against the Lobos.
Colorado (-3.5) vs Arizona - This is a battle of the only two unbeaten teams in the PAC-12 South. The Buffs should prevail at home.
Northwestern (+8) @ Nebraska - The Wildcats looked good in their loss to Wisconsin last week and should able to cover this number.
And for all the games picks spreads times and much much more here is the 2019 Week 6 Bettors Guide
