On Sully's Bucket List No matter the outcome of Wednesday’s pitiful presser, it didn’t outweigh the good time the Mrs and I had with the Sax Man and Lady. We went Nashville to catch an up and rising bluegrass band called Newtown.
On the ride up, I called into Kyle Cantrell’s XM Radio show and got on the air with my request for a NewTown song. Blogs, facebook, twitter, radio - the Doofus is now a multimedia mogul!
We stayed at the Union Station hotel, an old beautifully created converted railway station. One on Sully’s station bucket list. We took a guided tour, after which they gave out samples of Jack Daniels Single Barrel. The Master Distiller takes his best barrel and makes a batch just for the Union Station Hotel.
Great stuff. I asked how much was it for a bottle? They can’t sell it by the bottle.

Mike Bob got back to coaching the Rams just yesterday Hawaii +17.0 @ Colorado State - CSU Head Coach was hospitalized over the summer for peripheral neuropathy, a condition a result of damage to your peripheral nerves, which send information to your brain and central nervous system, causing weakness, numbness and pain in the hands and feet. When news broke yesterday that he would return to coach the Rams (from the press box) the line jumped from 14.0 to 17.0
Lather, rinse, repeat, Colorado State has gone 7-6 the last three seasons. Can the Rams rise above 7 wins this year? And for Hawii, can it snap a string of seven straight non-winning campaigns.
Colorado State returns only four starters on offense including needing to breaking in a new quarterback, a new lead running back and three new starters on the offensive line. The Rams also will be replacing their top receiver and top tight end from a year ago.
On defense the return only five starters on defense. Fortunately they bring back their top two tacklers in senior safety Jordan Fogal and senior middle LB Josh Watson.
For Hawaii, they hope to get back to the glory days of the 2000’s byswitching back the run and shoot offense.
The number of returning starters is similar as Hawai’i returns just three starters on offense and five on defense. They also return their two best players in LBs Soloman Matautia and Jahlani Tavia, who was a first-team All-MWC selection in ’16 and a second-teamer last year.

New Mexico State +4.5 vs Wyoming - Wyoming enters 2018 looking to build off back-to-back eight win seasons under coach Craig Bohl. The Cowboys should have one of the nation’s best Group of Five defenses. Eight starters are back from the nation’s top defense in takeaways.
On offense, star QB Josh Allen is off throwing incompletions in the NFL. That may be an improvement as the Cowboys were 127th in offense.
