Normally I would have arrived on Thursday but my client pimped me and called for a Board Meeting on Friday in NY. Bastards.
The gang has already arrived and having a grand old time while I’m stuck making a tight connection. More time to make better picks I guess.
Couple of lessons from the practice betting so far this year. The first is to not stratify the bets. Best to just spread them smooth. Like Butter.
The second is not to lay 8 to 14 points on the road. That’s been a disaster lately. My favored team gets down a TD and then all hell break loose.
Not this week.
And of course don’t bet on MSU. It’s tempting this year. Real tempting, but I just won’t do it.

Still not sure how the Cats thumped Wisconsin Boston College -2.0 @ Va Tech – Boston College can run the ball behind a resurgent AJ Dillon. Va Tech can’t stop the run.
Syracuse -6.0 @ Wake Forest – This should be a wild one. Both teams can score. Syracuse is better at it.
Northwestern +9.5 vs Notre Dame – Not sure how the Cats having been doing it but they’ve been winning ugly. They may not win but the Domers don’t exactly blow out teams. Brucie’s Boys gets the cover.
Army -7.0 vs Air Force – Both team run the ball but who are you going to trust with a ground game Army or Fly Boys? Yup. 10:00 am body clock kick off for Air Force. Dwink came through last week He does again.

The Fighting Kiffens are so 2017 Boise State -13.5 vs BYU - The Cougar offense just went bye bye in a 7-6 loss to Northern Illinois. The Bronco offense is rolling. QB Brett Rypien has tossed for 300 or more yards in all but one game.
Florida International -3.0 @ Florida Atlantic – FAU and Lane Kiffen are so last year. The 2018 version sucks. FIU is undefeated in the CUSA.
Georgia Southern -7.5 @ UL Monroe – This one goes right to the edge of my betting strategy but the Eagles only loss was to Clemson. They just put a 20 point beat down on App State. Impressive. Not impressive? UL Monroe struggling to beat Texas State.

Washington -1.5 versus Atlanta – Washington’s secondary was pretty good and now they have added Ha Ha Clinton Dix. The Falcons struggled against the Giants. That will seem like nothing. All Day will feast on a depleted Falcons defense.
New Orleans +1.5 vs LA Rams – The fabulous Drew Brees at home getting points. I don’t care who the other team is - that’s easy money. The defense is underrated too. Last week they had a pick six and nearly a scoop six. They scored anyways.

Kentucky (+9.5) vs Georgia - The Sheriff is wandering out of his lane to make a rare SEC pick this week for no other reason than he thinks Kentucky football is a great story this year and he would love to see an Alabama/Kentucky SEC Championship game. Basketball season starts soon but all anyone cares about right now are the 7-1 Wildcats.

The Bulldogs are on a Mission from God (with apologies to the Blues Brothers) and will take care of business against the last-place Running Rebels and cover this damn number. Jeff and the boys have not let the Sheriff down yet.
