PictureUSF let up three straight TDs costing me a Mega Bet
Last week’s results were a great pick, a bad pick and a crappy come back leaving me 1-2 again.

The bad pick was Denver +1.5 @ LA Chargers – The Broncos mailed this one in. After stuffing the Bolts at the one, rather than using the goal line stand to gain some momentum they punted the ball back. LA took the return to the house for an insurmountable 7-0 lead.

The Chargers ended up rolling the Broncos 21-0. It was first time Denver has been shut out since 1992.  Bad pick LOSS

The crappy come back was South Florida -11.0 @ Tulane – Midway through the 3rd quarter, USF was killing Tulane 34-7. I was figuring this one was in the bag. But the Bulls took their foot off the pedal and allowed 3 Green Wave TDs. the last one with 2:45 left. Final score USF 34 Tulane 28 crappy LOSS

It was USF's first loss ATS on the season.

I hope these kind of sh!tty losses are getting out of the way before GO JUMBO

The great pick was Penn State -9.5 vs Michigan – Penn State’s been looking forward to this game since September of last year. And they had an extra week to prepare for it. The second play of the game was the result. Saquon Barkley took the direct snap, a play they installed over the bye, and scampered 69 yards to the house. The rout was on.

Barkley furthered his Heisman credentials with this amazing TD catch to go up 35-13

PictureBetting your heart can make you look foolish
HC James Franklin being the douche that he is, kept rolling up the score. PSU was ahead 42-13 and five seconds left at the scUM 6, but he didn't take a knee. He ran another play. If it was against anyone else I would have booed. But I loved it. Final 42-13 WIN

The Sheriff had another winning week going 2-1 with:

Purdue -9.5 vs Rutgers - Rutgers beat his beloved Boilers outright 14-12. Don't bet your heart Sheriff. Rutgers now has the same conference record as scUM

Cal +3.0  vs Arizona - Cal tied it on a 52 yard FG with 1:41 left. In the second OT, they iced it for the Sheriff by going for 2. Get it and they win outright, miss it and you lose by 1 while getting three. I love that spot. Cal missed it losing 45-44 WIN

Washington State -10.0 vs Colorado - The Cougs bounced back from last weeks humbling loss and throttled the Buffs 28-0 WIN

PictureND blew out USC but still left the under for the Sax Man
The Sax Mans Parlay was a bust

San Fransciso (+12) vs Dallas - SF lost won 40-10 LOSS

Washington (+11) at Philly - Philly missed a FG late but still won 34-24 WIN
Arizona (+9.5) vs Rams - LA lost 33-0 LOSS

Parlays are tough even with the extra points.

NCAA picks:

Iowa (-1.5) over Northwestern:  Northwestern won in OT 17-10 LOSS

Notre Dame vs USC UNDER 65.5: ND did almost all the scoring winning 49-14 WIN

PictureBC has an offense now?
Take Aways from Week 8

When did Boston College get an offense? They beat Virginia 41-10 for the second straight outright win and fifth straight ATS

Injuries are killing North Carolina - they are 1-7 straight up and have lost four of their last five ATS

Penn State is rolling up the score. They've won  4 out of their last 5 ATS

Texas may not be winning but they are covering. Since stumbling in the opening week against Maryland, they are 6-0 ATS

Arizona State shelled Utah 30-10 for their second straight win outright as a double digit underdog. They have covered four in a row The under is now 6-1 for the Forks

The GO JUMBO trip is not far away. It's Nov 11th at the Westgate Resort
