LA Rams +7.0 @ Dallas – Dallas started out hot as they scored on their first three possessions, taking a 17-6 lead. But the Rams, behind a vastly improved Jared Goff and studly Todd Gurley, settled down and started pounding away at the Cowboys. Gurley had 123 yards rushing, 7 catches for another 94 yards and a TD.
LA came back to win outright 35-30 WIN
Philadelphia +1.0 @ LA Chargers – Another Philip Rivers start another Charger loss. Rivers was OK actually, throwing for 347 yards and 2 TDs. It was the Bolts rush defense that came up short. The Eagles gashed them for 216 yards on the ground.
LA scored a late TD to make the score respectable but they were never really in it. Final Eagles 26 Chargers 24 WIN

Clemson just up and reloaded. DeSahuan who? QB Kelly Bryant went into Lane Stadium and didn't blink and eye. He passed for 186 yards and ran for another 94 as the Tigers crushed Va Tech 31-17.
With the win, Clemson became the first team ever to beat three top 15 teams before Oct 1.
Central Florida isn't ready to concede the Group of 5 New Years spot to South Florida or SDSU just yet. With a convincing 40-13 win over Memphis, the Knights are 3-0 and have won all their games by at least 27 points.
Sam Darnold did not look like the #1 overall pick in the draft against Washington State. He threw for a meager 164 yards and a pick. Give credit to the Cougar defense. They played strong. But Darnold gets some of the blame too. He looked lost. The Heisman is now out. Getting an invite to NY is on the line going forward.

If State just hangs on to the football they can win a lot of games. The Hawkeyes had just lost a heartbreaker to Penn State when they traveled to Spartan Stadium. It was a classic old timey Big Ten slug fest with State coming out on top 17-10.
