I know - I still owe a recap of the last weekends GO JUMOB trip. It was real and fantastic. I'll get to it soon
I was trying to get the picks off before Noon but Mrs. Doofus wanted to show off the new dock and seawall we got while I was yucking it up in Vegas.
Then the repair man came to fix the boat.
So now I'm trying to the picks out before the second round of games. Not quite going to make it. Close enough though
Not a lot of real big games this week. Most teams are scheduling cupcakes before Rivalry Week next weekend.
The biggest game of the week is
Wisconsin -7.0 vs scUM - As Johnny E calls them "Wisconsin is the fake ID of college football."
The fake ID is good enough to take down a scUM team that thinks there new QB is would have got them in the playoffs if they had started him early.
It never fails, scUM thinks they are far better than the are. It will be low scoring but Wisconsin wins. Covers a full seven. That spread is just about about right. I'll put a quatloo on the Badgers for fun.
USC -14.5 vs UCLA - Great rivalry game UCLA looked like the were going to mail this season in. But then they go out and beat Arizona State and Jim Mora gets to keep his job for another year.
The talk will be about Josh Rosen vs Sam Darnold and it should be a classic. They will be somewhere around even. so tje game will come down to Ronald Jones being the difference.
It's a huge spread for a rivalry game but I'll take the condoms. No quatloos though

For the Mega Bets I'll take
Arizona +3.0 @ Oregon - The Ducks are struggling to put points on the scoreboard without QB Justin Herbert. Except for an explosion against Utah, they have failed to put up more than 2TDs since week 5. He's probable tonight but I think he will be rusty. I believe in the Sheriff's Man Crush on Khalil Tate. The Wildcats will win out right.
Seattle -3.0 vs Atlanta - The line would say that these teams are even or perhaps in favor of the Falcons. The 12th man is worth more than the normal 3 points. Forget about Atlanta's big win over Dallas. The Boys are dinged up and the Birds were desperate at home. Seattle gets be Earl Thomas whcih will limit Matty Ice. The Seahawks will roll at home.
I'll put some Mini Megas on:
Georgia Tech -7.5 @ Duke - Anyone with a pulse is bitch slapping Duke. Add the Wreck to that list. -
Kansas City -10.5 @ NY Giants - The GMen have given up on HC Ben McAdoo and KC is coming off a bye. I'll lay the huge points.
This weeks Point Whore Parlay is
Florida International +14.5 @ Florida Atlantic
Syracuse +13.0 @ Louisville
Illinois +41.0 @ Ohio State

And here are the Sheriff's picks
Arizona/Oregon (OVER 74). The Sheriff has won two straight OVERS thanks to Khalil Tate. One more for the Hat Trick.
Fresno State (-1) @ Wyoming. The Bulldogs are in first place in the Mountain West with a record of 7-3. Jeff Tedford has resurrected this program and has it in contention for the Mountain West Championship. Josh Allen is listed as day-to-day but even if he plays, the Sheriff is taking Fresno State for the win.
Northwestern (-7) vs Minnesota. The Wildcats have won 5 straight and are sitting in second place in the Big Ten West with a record of 7-3. At this point in the season, you are who you are and the Cats will take care of business against the Golden Gophers and Illinois the following week and finish the season 9-3.
