PictureSeattle was wearing neon green highlighter unis and things were looking bleak when Richard Sherman went down with a blown Achilles
The Sports Book was laughing last night.I've heard it cheer. I've heard it boo. But never laugh.

The beach head was firmly established with Joe, Mrs Joe Woz and me. It was pretty full by the time the Seattle game had kicked off. Almost everyone in the Book was backing Seattle to cover 6.0

With 25 seconds to go Arizona scored a TD to get a back door cover. That is, until we realized that they needed the extra point to actually get the cover. Miss it we were yelling. Misss iiiiit! They did. And everyone laughed. We salvaged a push.

Except Woz who had gotten his ticket earlier in the day at -6.5. Ooops

I went 1-0-1 with a win on hockey. Pat went 2-1 by taking overs on all the college games. Pete was 0-1 by taking Pitt. See I told ya, don't mess around with Ellis.

PictureTanner Magnum blew out his Achilles too
Woz doesn't want to talk about it.

The good times have already started. Pat is up several Mega Bets on video poker. Pat's buying tonight!

Speaking of tonight I'm going to put down a couple of Mini Megas on

UNLV -4.0 vs BYU - UNLV is turning it around. They have two straight wins over Fresno State (impressive!) and Hawaii. BYU still  stinks. Now they have lost their starting QB Tanner Magnum. The Rebs will win easily just a few miles from the Super Book. Maybe we should go

Washington -6.0 @ Stanford - Stanford is struggling too. The passing game has gone bye bye, Bryce Love may be back but he's not fully recovered. This should be an easy win for the Huskies

My hesitation is that everyone, including the Sheriff likes Washington and Stanford plays better at home.

What the hell, I'll still take UDub

PictureI agree - Rich Rod has about the same moral standards as your brother
Here's the rest of the Sheriff's picks

Arizona/Oregon State (OVER 71).   After being behind 28-6 in the 3rd quarter, Khahlil Tate brought the Wildcats back to tie USC 35-35 in a furious comeback that fell just short.

The Doofus will enjoy watching Tate run all over the worst team in the PAC-12 on the big screen TVs at the Westgate Sports Book on Saturday night.

And whereas Clay Helton and Chris Petersen are class guys who would sit their starters instead of running up the score, RichRod will have no such moral qualms.  Put a Mega Bet on this one.

A Mega huh? Depends how much Tullamore Dew I have today

USC (-13.5) @ Colorado.   The Condoms have looked impressive the last two weeks against the Arizona schools and appear to have recovered from the embarrassment in South Bend.  They will take care of business and clinch the PAC-12 South against the Buffs.

Washington (-6.5) @ Stanford.  The whole country will be watching this game on Friday night.  The Huskies need to win and win big if they want to show the CFP committee they are worthy of serious consideration for the 4-team playoff.  Stanford changed QBs last week in an attempt to jump start its offense but the results weren’t encouraging (Wazzu outgained Stanford 430 to 198).
